NEWS NOTES ON SUSTAINABLE WATER RESOURCES Sustainable Water at the American Chemical Society (ACS) https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/sustainability/understandingsustainability/sustainable-water.html Billions of people around the world are facing shortages of clean water. At least 80 countries already have water shortages that threaten human health and economic activity. Almost one billion people lack reliable access to clean drinking water. And the situation may worsen with population growth and global climate change. This site includes many links from the ACS. There are Congressional briefings and presentations, press releases, and other print and video items. For example, it covers how to supply safe drinking water, a vital subject due to human health. The global water crisis is one of the most important topics. This link will also be posted on the 2017 Actions and Activities Page of the Sustainable Water Resources Site at https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ ">https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ Tim SmithSustainable Water Resources CoordinatorGovernment Web Site, https://acwi.gov/Sustainable Water Resources Site, https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ ">https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/
